Description

The splitting of the sea provided the inspiration for some profound and beautiful midrashim dealing with questions of prayer and action, nation, community and leader. Building on a piece by Rav Shagar we read the midrashim as being in dialogue with one another, presenting different ideological points of view through their readings of the verses of kriyat yam suf.
