Description

In the opening of this Parsha, Moshe reintroduces the dichotomy of bracha and klalah, of blessing and curse. However, the way Moshe phrases this dichotomy reveals to us that the world is ideally meant to be a reality of bracha. Through a critical analysis of the pesukim of this Parsha, we see how we are meant to relate to the world as a reality of bracha, how that links into our connection with the Beit HaMikdash, and how that is all meant for us to arrive at a place of inner joy. (Part of HaMidrasha at QC, OU-JLIC's Torah learning program for women at Queens College.)
