After reexamining the Sin of the Spies, the entire second half of the Parsha focuses on our wars with other other nations in and around the Land of Israel. What is the connection between the two? How is this long discussion a response to our failure during the Sin of the Spies? We explore the essential mistake that the Jews made in putting their faith in physical might over their faith in God when going to war and the necessary shift in perspective required to successfully conquer Eretz Yisrael.
