Masechet Ketuvot 16b: Do we require the borrower to hold onto a receipt (שובר) to prove that he paid his debt? How does the husband prove that he paid the ketuva? Can we allow a woman to collect her ketuva even if she cannot produce the Ketuva document? How to we protect the husband from a devious wife who may show up in a 2nd Beis Din to collect her ketuva a 2nd time?
