Description

A man has a lower soul, which is between the outer shells (klipah) and the internal holiness. When man partakes of this world in a way which is permitted, it is up to him to intend for service of Hashem. When he does so, he elevates this part of the soul to holiness. If he does not, then it is drawn to the shells.
