Description

The human mind can not grasp Hashem, but He has condensed himself into the Torah, and through the Torah we can grasp him. When a Jew studies the Torah, and delves into the intricacies of whether or not Reuven owes Shimon money and the Halachic decision, his mind grasps Hashem will and is elevated by it. Torah Lishma is for the sake of connecting to Hashem.
