After a general review of the basic sources, we continue by analyzing the debate between Rashi & the אית דמפרשי, and the opinion of Rabbenu Chananel who accepts LeHalacha the view of the אית דמפרשי and requires a Bedika LeBa'ala independent of Taharos in the case of אין לה וסת. Although the Rif accepts the Halachik requirement of בדיקה לבעלה, however his is by far more limited that the requirement of R' Chananel.
