Description

In today's class we discuss idea that the mitzva of honouring parents is 'periyat chov' - the repayment of a debt. We also look at the two reasons given for the mitzva by the Sefer HaChinuch and how later poskim saw their impact on the obligations of adopted children to both biological and adoptive parents.
