Our shiur today for Masechet Bava Matzia 56b will focus on the status & law of תרומת מעשר של דמאי. The crux of the issue is: do the Rabanan upgrade the Rabbinic enactment of דמאי to give it the status of Ma'aser DeOraisa? Would there be a precedent to this in the ruling of R' Meir regarding the disqualification of a Get brought by an agent who failed to declare בפני נחתם?
