R. Yisrael Isserlein (Terumat Ha-Deshen) is asked to judge a case in which one man claims that another man purposefully injured him during Hoshanot on Sukkot. The other claims that it was simply a case of getting hurt in the crush. There is no direct evidence, but there is a good deal of circumstantial evidence that this was a premeditated assault...
