Description

The sugya in Masechet Bava Matzia 19b investigates two appraches to reconcile the Mishna & the Beraisa: Why we return a מתנת שכיב מרע but we do not return a מתנת בריא? The presentation is predicated on the unique Halacha regarding the former gift: the שכיב מרע can cancel the gift even after the document was delivered into the hands of the recipient. This is not the case re: the classical gift of a healthy individual.
