Description

For Masechet Bava Metzia 12 a-b we continue our study of the Mishne re: acquiring an owner-less object, such as an animal or bird that landed in one's field. In this regard we will analyze the difference between a Metzia and a gift. We will study the next Mishna re: what if a child picked up a Metzia? Who owns the object, he himself or his father? Can a child acquire a lost object according to Torah law? If only acc to Rabbinic law, when & why was this established?
