Description
We begin our study of Masechet Bava Kamma 67b with a search for the Scriptual source for limiting Daled VaHeh to Shor & Seh. After all, elsewhere the word 'Shor' indicates all animals. How are we meant to understand Rava's statement that one repetition of 'shor' and 'seh' is superfluous? In the bulk of this shiur we will study the sugya of attacking & defending Rav's view that: גזלן קונה ביאוש. Rav's detractors reject the independent power of יאוש to generate a Kinyan; יאוש must operate in conjunction with the change of possession. How can we interpret various Beraisos that seem to contradict Rav & reconcile these with Rav's view?
