For Masechet Bava Kama 42a-b, a sugya that presents various opinions regarding what law should be derived from the verse ובעל השור נקי, we will discuss the following possibilities: if the animal (=שור תם) attacked a pregnant woman and she lost the fetus should the שור תם pay damages for the fetus; the animal killed a human does the owner pay כופר; if the animal killed an עבד does the owner pay the master the penalty of שלושים? In the latter part of the shiur we will discuss the question: who collects כופר? Is it the husband as in other inheritance, or the other members of her family? Here we will distinguish between ראוי and מוחזק.
