The sugya in Masechet Kiddushin 76b-77b addresses a number of different issues. Amongst them: the status of a Mamzer as a judge; Can a Ger be appointed for שררה?; How is the פסול חללות passed on, thru the father & even thru the mother? Is חללות created only thru a relationship that violates איסורי כהונה? Would a ביאת איסור irrelevant to Kehuna generate חללות, i.e. an ערוה relationship? We will study the four opinions re: the daughter of converts, can she marry a Kohen?
