Based on a Torah of Rav Kook. We struggle to appreciate Hashem's constant kindness due to the P'gam in the Gid HaNashe'. Revealed miracles give us an opening to appreciate the constant miracles within nature. Appreciation begins with thanking Hashem for my precious Neshama. Our Neshama is the tool which enables us to truly appreciate everything He does. Shabbos is a light of Moshiach which allows us to thank Hashem similar to the way we will in the times of Moshiach.
