The Mishna and sugya in Masechet Chulin 100b addresses the status of Gid HaNashe in the case of a non-Kosher animal. We will attempt to understanding the view of Rebby Yehuda & reconcile his opinion with the general principle that an Issur cannot be prohibited under two different categories, namely, אין איסור חל על איסור.
