The sugya in Masechet Kidushin 55a-55b addresses the question: Can there be Chillul in the case of Kedushas HaGuf? This seems to be the assumption of the Mishna in Shekalim. Perhaps this Mishna reflects the view of Rabby Meir that there is Meila BeMeizid, i.e. the object is Yotzei LeChulin, and this principle operates even in Kedushas HaGuf, e.g. a Korban or a kli Shares.
