Description

Based on a Torah from Rav Kook. "Woe to the Children Who Have Forgotten their Father" bemoans Rav Kook. How Pesach night is about returning the Father-Son relationship between me and Hashem. The closeness between Yakov and Yosef is the paradigm of all father-son relationships. Being in Mitzrayim is the very antithesis of this. A close look at various Pesukim reveals that there is no concept of Father-Son in Mitzrayim. This begins with Pharoah, who declared himself as a God with no father, and leads him to decree that every 'son' should be killed in Mitzrayim. Seder night is the Geula of the father and son relationship which is eternally bound together by Emunah and Torah.
