Description

Soon after his arrival in Pressburg, the second volume of Noda BiYehuda was published, and it included a responsum that rules that using an umbrella or parasol on Shabbat is potentially a de-Orayta violation. Yet the people of Pressburg were already in the habit of carrying parasols on Shabbat.
