Based on a Torah from Rav Kook. Most people in the world are 'drunk' and as such have a distorted view of the true reality. The Mitzvah to drink on Purim is an opportunity to be freed from this intoxication and reveals to us the unadulterated truth. Hashem brings us into His inner chambers where there is only happiness and joy. "HeViani El Bai Hayayin".
