For the blatt in Masechet Kiddushin 6b-7b, we will study the three principles of Rava re: unusual types of נתינה. The first is ערב which establishes that the money need not reach the hand of the מתקדשת. The 2nd is עבד כנעני, which teaches that the money need not come from the hand of the קונה. The third is the combination thereof. In the second half of the shiur we will discuss the q': is there a possibility of marrying only half of a woman? Can we equate Kiddushin with Hekdesh & extend the Kiddushin to the 2nd half of the woman?
