Description

In the middle of Parshat Shmini, we come to the words that are literally at the center point of the Torah - "darosh darash." Why are these words at the center of the Torah? We explore their powerful context in the midst of a heated debate between Moshe and Aharon which concludes with Aharon asking Moshe to consider what is really "good in the eyes of God." We learn how this concept may be the very heart of the Torah itself and how the Torah is meant to be learned. (Part of HaMidrasha at QC, OU-JLIC's Torah learning program for women at Queens College.)
