Based on a Torah of Rav Kook. Anger is the 'Amaleik' of evil character traits. A person becomes angry the more that his free choice becomes limited, and how this pertains to Amaleik. Rav Kook reveals a remarkable insight - to fight anger with "Holy Anger"; that is, to be angry at the anger itself. We see this from the Megilla where an angry Achashveirosh puts Haman to death. How drinking on Purim is a form of wiping out Amaleik.
