Description

After the Shechinah finally enters the Mishkan, Parshat Pekudei (and therefore Sefer Shemot) concludes by telling us that the could and the pillar of fire were always present to protect the Mishkan and Israel in all of their journey through the desert. The Nesivos Shalom explains the meaning of the cloud and fire in terms of the Mishkan as well as how to make ourselves into a true miniature Mishkon full of kedusha which is then guarded by our own personal cloud and pillar of fire as we make the complicated journey through life. (Shemot, Pekudei: Ki Anan Hashem Al HaMishkan B'Chol Maaseihem, pp. 280-281)
