For the aggadeta of Berachot 26b we will analyze the unique tefilla of Yaakov Avinu. For the Halacha we will study the Rav's insights into the Rambam regarding Zemanei tefilla. How can the Rambam allow for a Tefillas Arvis before the Zeman of Arvis, i.e. before לילה? How can the Rambam pasken like Rebby Yehuda that the latest time for Miincha is פלג, & yet allow for Mincha up to שקיעת החמה? How can one daven both Mincha & Maariv in the very same time zone? Why isn't this a תרתי דסתרי? In the last part of shiur we will discuss a scenario in Brisk, Reb Moshe davened Mussaf instead of Shachris to gain Tefilla בציבור. Reb Chaim argued that if the Yachid is davening 1 Tefilla, the Tzibbur a different one, the Yachid achieves קיום תפלה בציבור.
