Re: Bein HaArbayim for the Korban Tamid & for Tefillas Mincha, is the extra half hour after חצות a DeOraisa requirement or only DeRabanan? In this shiur we will present 3 methodological breakthroughs of our Rebby, the Rav. One, the Rabbanan can re-define a Torah concept! The extra half hour is not simply an additional Takanas Zeman unto itself as a seperate Takana, but rather a new definition of חצות! Two, there are two definitions of Halachik time: the time of the מחייב, and the time of the הכשר וקיום, i.e. the implementation of the חיוב. Three, there can be two of the same Tefillos within a single time period! These are Mincha Gedola & Mincha KeTana. Both constitute Tefillos Mincha, neither is a Tefillas Nedava.
