Is there an obligation to get drunk on Purim? This shiur analyzed the main Gemara mentioning the obligation and its relationship to the story that follows it. It included a survey of the opinions of the rishonim and the acharonim. This shiur was delivered to the shana aleph talmidim in Yeshivat Har Etzion.
