We will continue our study of Masechet Chulin 100a, analyzing the controversy between Rabba & Rav. Unquestionably they are debating the Halacha re: a Taaroves of מין במינו, whereas Rabba accepts the view of the Chachamim & Bittul operates, Rav accepts the view of Rebby Yehuda & there is no Bittul, rather a משהו is sufficient to engender Issur. But is there an additional debater re: the principle of חננ, does it apply beyond the confines of Basar BeChalav? This last premise must be rejected by Rabenu Efrayim, even Rav will agree that there is no חננ in נבילה. We will study the view of the Ra'ah, that according to Rabba that Bittul applies to this Taaroves despite the fact that בישול took place in a 2-stage process. We will reinterpret חננ.
