This shiur will serve as both an introduction to the 4th Perek of Berachot & as a study of the 1st section of the opening Mishna which addresses the q' of the latest time for Tefillas Shachris. We will prove that although the Halacha is with Rebby Yehuda, i.e. the end of the 4th hour, nevertheless, one can pray Shachris until Chatzot HaYom. We know of two categories of Tefilla: Chova & tashlumin. Would this slice of time (until Chatzot) be a Tashlumin? Or is there a 3rd category, i.e. Tefillas Shachris but not as Tefilla BiZemana nor as Tashlumin. We will suggest various נפק"מ between these two definitions. As part of our introduction we will wonder why Rebby began this Mishna with Shachris deviating from Shema where he opened with Arvis.
