In thisw Hashkafa shiur for Parshas Bo we chose the mitzva of tfillin. This shiur is entitled: finding the meaning of the mitzva of tfillin. What intention should one have when he fulfills this mitzva? We will study many of the comments of the Raman scattered throughout his writings. The Ramban indicates that tfillin represent the מח (intellect) and לב (seat of all of man's talents & powers). We will investigate the relationship between the intellect & its decisions, and the heart as the center of man's will.
