The Rosh presents the view of Rabenu Tam regarding Ta'am K'Ikar DeOraisa. If there is Taam Issur in the Taaroves then I receive Malkos for eating any Kazayis from the mixture. But does R' Tam truly accept the principle that Heter turns into Issur? Based on a shiur the Raz za"l gave long ago, we will see that there are many indications that the Heter remains Heter just that it carries the Taam 'balua' of Issur. This will force us to reinterpret the view of Rabenu Tam.
