For our study of Masechet Chulin 108b, we will concentrate on the words of Rebby, and prove from Rebby that the Machlokes Chachamin & R' Yehuda recorded in the Beraisa in fact revolves about the issue of אפשר לסוחטו. We are addressing the case where the ניעור came late, after the top piece of meat has already absorbed the taste of the milk. Acc. to R' Yehuda, the piece will now generate Issur on the rest of the contents of pot. This is so because אפשר לסוחטו אסור, and Rebby accepts the view of R' Yehuda on this. There is a 2nd Machlokes in the case of ניער מתחילה and here Rebby accepts the view of the Chachamim i.e. we can assume the ניעור was successful & that the Tipas chalav was distributed throughout the pot.
