We will compare two sugyos: Masechet Chulin 107b & Masechet Pesachim 76a and attempt to define the requirements of כדי קליפה & הדחה. Are we dealing with a full-fledged בליעה, or are these only to be described as a חומרא בעלמא? What happens in the case of liquid which doesn't lend itself to these? What if he cooked the mixture without removing these, must we have 60x for bittul? We will analyze the din of משהו on Pesach in this context and compare it to the requirement of הדחה for two cold foodstuffs that came into contact.
