Rav Itchimeir continues to discuss the difference between the revelation of light in different generations. Those who are close to the light, only need a small revelation of the light in order to feel the connection to its source. But those who are very far from the light and its source, need a lot more light. In our generation, we need a very detailed description of the king in order to get the smallest taste of the king. In contrast, the earlier generations didn't need so much to be spiritually moved. A "simple Rashi" did the job.
