Description

Adam HaRishon was tested in his Emunah of Gam Zu L'Tova. Due to his sin, the Emunah of Gam Zu L'Tova fell deeper and deeper with each passing generation, which eventually led to the Mabul and it's Galus in Mitzrayim and Sedom. We turn to Avraham, Yosef, and especially Moshe, who worked tirelessly to lift up this Emunah from it's fall and redeem it from the hands of Pharaoh. How this relates to Nachum Ish Gam Zu and how it differs with "Kol Man D'Avid Rachmana L'Tav Avid" is also discussed.

    1. Title: Shiur Clarification
      Author: Kivi Naiman

Just to better clarify the flow of the Shiur - the topic of Gam Zu L'Tova moves into a discussion about Avimelech (and Sheim), that his Bracha to Avraham and Sarah ended up bring a vital factor in allowing them to have a child. The point of bring this in here was to further develop the Gam Zu L'Tovah in Avraham's life. Going down to the land of the Plishtim was not ideal for Avraham and Sarah; yet Gam Zu T'Lova - the very person who took Sarah away proved to be the one who blessed them with a child!

Yehoshua
