In this shiur for Masechet Chulin 104b, we will analyze the controversy between the Aruch HaShulchan & the Tiferes Yaakov regarding the nature of the Issur HaAla'ah. Are we concerned about the possibility of eating the milk & meat together, or about the possibility of the inadvertent creation of Basar BeChalav? The latter seems to be indicated by both Rashi & the Me'iri who are concerned about the contact between the meat & the milk and the resultant absorption (בליעה) of milk by the meat. In this shiur we will suggest 5 Halachik differences between these two definitions of the Issur HaAla'ah.
