In this shiur we begin our study of the Shach at the beginning of Siman 88, why did the Rabanan limit their גזירת העלאה to the Issur Basar BeChalav. The Shach defines Basar BeChalav as לא בדיליה אינשי מיניה, and we will analyze the possibility of expanding that definition to include Nedarim, Challas E"Y, and Chametz BiPesach. Finnaly we will present the Mateh Yonasan who presents an alternative approach to the Shach.
