Rav Yaakov Moshe Charlop continues and says that the truth is, if we give away land, it causes more tension and fighting between us and the Arabs nations. The only advice is what we get from Avraham's shepherds telling Lot's shepherds to separate from us. Eretz yisrael is the land of our livelihood. Yerushalayim is our heart pumping blood-it gives us our life. We completely depend on our land's existence. Rebbe Akiva was able to laugh by the ruins of the Temple because he knew that it was part of the bigger picture which is all in Hashem's hands. During these difficult times in Eretz Yisrael, we need to be strong and know that Hashem is always with us. May our brothers and sisters in Israel be protected at all times.
