Rav Kook says that if one wanted to look and truly recognize, he can see how much Hashem's light shines down on us and how it is right in front of our eyes at all times. Rebbe Nachman says if you look at a mountain in front of your face but there is a coin on your nose, you won't see the mountain at all. We have to see beyond all of which interferes with our vision in life. Within everything in life there is Godliness. Beyond all physicality that appears to our eyes, there is something deeper. We just have to see this Godliness as something that we live in and not something abstract and distant.
