Two objectives of the pioneers were to build up the city and go into the field and work. The Jews who wanted to build up eretz yisrael and infuse the working life with the love of Hashem, had a Rebbe named Rav Shayele Shapira. These Jews who wanted to settle in Eretz Yisrael went through a lot of pain and difficulties. From the arabs and even more from the secular zionists. Rav Shayele was an integral part of their lives as he gave them strength and courage to reach their goals by giving over torah and singing with them. The Sefer of Eretz Chafetz represents the entire pathway of Rav Kook Shlita. It is compiled of beautiful words and praises of the land of the Jewish people. Rav Shayele was able to live by the words of his Rebbe.
