We will study Pachad Yitzchok for Rosh Hashana, Ma'amar #25, which is an essay that addresses the power of the Shofar. The premise that underlies this presentation is that the Shofar unifies Malchuos & Zichronos into a single indivisible unit. The meaning of this unification requires an understanding of both Malchuos & Zichronos. The analysis of these two will lead to a connection between shofar and the coronation of the King. At the same time, this study will lead to our understanding of the connection between Shofar and the creation of man. This is significant since Rosh Hashana commemorates the creation of man. What is unique about man? Why is the day of man's creation the day of the coronation of the king? What does זכירה mean?
