In this shiur of the Pachad Yitzchok for Shabbos, Maamar #8, we will study the language of the Tefillos of Shabbos and the emphasis on Menuchas Shabbos. We will use the principle of הנאה כמעשה as a model to understand how the experience of Oneg Shabbos allows for a transition from this finite world to the world of eternity. The pleasure of Shabbos becomes a taste of Infinity. The Shabbos experience as a unity of Zachor & Shamor, the negative & positive dimensions of Shabbos.
