In this shiur on the Aggadeta of Berachot 10b we will study the insights of HaRav A. Y. Kook on Chizkuyahu & Moshe Rabenu, on the Shunamis & the guesthouse she and her husband constructed for Elisha, and the two fundamentally different categories of Tzadikim and their approaches to the Jewish community. We will see that Elisha and Shmuel represent these two paradigmic Tzadikim. Which Tzadik should allow himself to receive gifts & which should not. It is incumbent upon the Tzadik who retreats into his private world to find opportunities to connect with and impact upon the populace. A born Tzadik & a self-made one. Finally why the womenfolk evaluate the personality of the guest whereas the menfolk cannot.
