We will study the mishna and the sugya in Masechet Berachot 12b regarding the Mitzva of Zechirat Yetziat Mitzrayim & its relationship to the Mitzva of Kriat Shema. Our focus will be the Rambam's omission of this mitzva in his Sefer HaMitzvot and the two approaches of Reb Chaim Brisker to justify the Rambam's omission. We will study the opening sections in the Rav's Yahrtzeit shiur on this topic.
