For Masechet Berachot 12a, we will study the question of one who erred in the recitation of Birchat Kriat Shema, specifically the Beracha of Emes Veyatziv, Emes VeEmuna. Did he swich them around? Or, as the Ramach would have it, he omitted the beracha? If the Ramach is correct, what's the חידוש that he did not fulfill his obligation? We will analyze the relationship between the Beracha and the mitzva of Kriah. In the latter half of the shiur we will discuss the concepts of כריעה and זקיפה, various postures for the recitation of the Amida.
