We will study the controversy between Rashi & Tos' regarding the status of Yad, the hand of a person as a מקום הנחה, a resting place that will either complete מלאכת הוצאה or facilitate its beginning (עקירה). Tos' accuses Rashi of maintaining that a Yad is never a מקום הנחה; but this is contradicted by the Mishna itself! In this shiur we will try to re-define Rashi and clarify the Machlokes between Rashi & Tos' and the differences in Halacha.
