Description

After seven days of Moshe putting up the Mishkan and taking it down, the Mishkan finally stands on the eighth day and is filled with God's Glory. Why specifically on the eight day? What is unique about the number 8? What does that teach us about the number before it: 7? Through exploring these concepts we discuss the significance of the meeting of the physical and the spiritual and of process and product. (Vayikra, Shemini: Vayehi BaYom HaShmini, pp. 37-38)
