Description

We will study three essays from the Pachad Yitzchok for Pesach. We will redefine the concept of a דבר רשות and establish that all of human behavior comes under Avdus LaShem. This is the intention of the mishna in Avot: שיהא כל מעשיך לשם שמים. There is no middle territory (no man's land) in between His Will & against His Will. This is the true definition of an Eved; the eved takes nothing for himself. The mitzva of בכל דרכיך דעהו establishes that in truth there is no such thing as a דבר רשות. This will shed a new light on the difference between Geulas Mitzrayim & Matan Torah as 2 stages in the transition between חסד של ויתור and the deeper chesed of חסד של משפט. These correspond to קבלת מלכות & קבלת גזירותיו. Why דיינו in the Haggadah?
