Hesder yeshivas are turning towards chassidus. Person comes into world with certain netias (leanings). The life of Yosef haTzadik is not possible today. Some Rabbi's use intimidation and fear in order to put out fires by banning internet, TV, computers, movies. The truth of the Baal Shem Tov will come out slowly but surely. Rambam held that the ikar avodah (main method) was to overpower the "fire" inside which was continued by the Mussar Movement. The Derech (way) of the Baal Shem Tov is to channel the inner fire. Waging a two pronged war- fight off the fire in the short term and in the long term bringing the "fire" into one's avodah. Learn to take energy and direct it in a certain way.
